Alessandro Zan, relatore del ddl contro omotransfobia e misoginia alla Camera, ha così commentato: «La Commissione Bilancio del Senato ha approvato un emendamento al Decreto Agosto che finanzia i centri antidiscriminazione e le case rifugio per le vittime di omotransfobia con 4 milioni di euro all’anno. È una parte della legge contro l’omotransfobia e la misoginia quindi già approvata, che abbiamo voluto mettere in sicurezza emendando il Decreto Agosto, ed è un’ottima notizia perché possiamo dare risposte proprio alle persone più fragili e vulnerabili.
Ora avanti verso il 20 ottobre, data in cui continuerà l’iter di approvazione alla Camera della legge, per approvarla entro il mese corrente. Grazie alle senatrici e ai senatori impegnati in questo lavoro, e grazie al governo per il sostegno che ha reso possibile questo risultato».
