Alla richiesta di commento il ministro della Salute Jens Spahn, gay dichiarato e sposato col giornalista Daniel Funke, che corre in ticket con Laschet come vicecancelliere, ha così risposto: «Vabbè, se la prima associazione all’omosessualità sono questioni giuridiche e pedofilia, allora direi che le domande dovete davverlo farle a Friedrich Merz».
Lapidario invece il ministro del lavoro socialdemocratico Hubertus Heil, che ha commentato: «Merz ci vorrebbe riportare indietro nel secolo scorso».
