Grande attesa, ieri sera, per la finale della 31° edizione di Musicultura, festival della canzone popolare e d’autore, trasmessa alle 23.40 da Rai2 con ospiti dal calibro di Massimo Ranieri e Roberto Vecchioni e la conduzione di Enrico Ruggeri. Un’attesa motivata, tra l’altro, dalla presenza sul palco di H.E.R., cantautrice e musicista transgender, compresa nella rosa delle otto persone finaliste perché risultata vincitrice della sezione web della kermesse con la canzone Il mondo non cambia mai, inno elettro-pop contro qualsiasi forma di razzismo e discriminazione che invita all’ascolto e alla comprensione dell’altro.
Purtroppo, però, quanti erano in attesa di vedere l’esibizione di H.E.R. hanno constatato l’improvviso taglio operato dalla rete alla messa in onda della finale, registrata in due serate a fine agosto, un taglio che ha cancellato il passaggio televisivo di H.E.R. e di altri tre concorrenti della manifestazione.
Un’occasione persa, quella del mancato passaggio televisivo di H.E.R., non solo dalla cantautrice di origini pugliesi ma soprattutto dalla Rai, che avrebbe certamente realizzato uno scatto in avanti in termini di cultura, inclusione e diritti, portando nelle case degli italiani la musica e la voce di una grande artista, già conosciuta a livello internazionale per le sue prestigiose collaborazioni, che ha sempre dato voce alle istanze delle persone Lgbt+ e che ha sempre rivendicato con orgoglio la propria identità di genere. Del resto, anche sul palco di Musicultura nell’Arena Sferisterio di Macerata, H.E.R. si era presentata con un bellissimo abito nero che esibiva una sfolgorante e luminosissima bandiera rainbow di paillettes.
