Nelle ultime ore del 17 gennaio veniva affisso a Ferrara, nei pressi dell’abitazione del sindaco Tiziano Tagliani, uno striscione recante la scritta No adozioni gay. Un gesto che ha suscitato un’ampia indignazione nella città estense, nella cui Piazza Municipale, domenica mattina, si è tenuta una manifestazione di solidarietà nei riguardi del primo cittadino.
Sul significato del blitz, subito rivendicato dal locale Dipartimento femminile di Forza Nuova, e della mobilitazione domenicale abbiamo chiesto il parere di Eva Croce, neopresidente di Arcigay Ferrara.
Eva, ci puoi raccontare qual è il clima in città dopo questo evento?
Ferrara, dal dopoguerra a oggi, è sempre stata una città fortemente antifascista. Certo, negli ultimi anni, il clima si è irrigidito: episodi di intolleranza, nei confronti soprattutto di persone straniere, li viviamo purtroppo anche noi, ma di vere e proprie intimidazioni nei confronti delle persone Lgbti non se ne segnalano. Nel Paese si sta creando un clima di scontro culturale: da una parte i “reazionari” e dall’altra chi desidera un Paese più europeo dal punto di vista dei diritti e della cultura democratica e antidiscriminatoria.
Questo gesto intimidatorio, realizzato dai militanti di Forza Nuova nella notte del 17 gennaio, è il primo vero attacco diretto alla nostra comunità in tempi recenti. Quello che preoccupa è che forze di estrema destra e di mentalità fascista vogliono raccogliere consensi. Queste azioni vanno fermate immediatamente. Non sono solo le idee diverse che mi preoccupano: il mio timore è nei riguardi di coloro che agiscono di nascosto e che hanno alla base dei propri comportamenti la violenza e l’intolleranza.
Pur essendo da sempre una città democratica e antifascista, anche Ferrara registra la presenza sempre più consistente di gruppi di estrema destra. Perché, secondo te, queste recrudescenza?
Credo che la crisi economica sia la causa principale di questa recrudescenza. Quando le persone devono fare rinunce, è facile per la politica in cerca di voti lanciare slogan contro coloro che dovrebbero essere la causa dei disagi. Se vuoi è un po’ come nel Medioevo, in cui le calamità erano il frutto dell’ira di Dio: oggi si è laicamente sostituito Dio con le minoranze e i più deboli.
Sappiamo che il blitz del 17 gennaio è stato rivendicato dal Dipartimento femminile di Forza Nuova Ferrara. Cosa ti senti di risponde a queste donne?
Sono realmente donne? Hanno agito al buio, di nascosto: non sappiamo nulla di reale nei confronti di chi abbiano compiuto tale azione. Come donna trans faccio veramente fatica ad accettare che ci siano donne, nel XXI° secolo, che sognano un mondo in cui essere sottomesse a una mentalità retrograda e totalmente irrispettosa nei nostri confronti. Manifestazione, cui hanno aderito tante associazioni e tante cittadine e cittadini.
