La violenza tra le mura domestiche non si arresta ai tempi del Covid-19 e a esserne particolarmente vittime, come sempre, sono donne e persone Lgbti. Per questo motivo il Governo argentino ha deciso di esentare le une e le altre dall’obbligo di rigorosa quarantena, disposta fino al 13 aprile per contenere la diffusione epidemica.
È quanto previsto dalla risoluzione 15/2020, che pubblicata ieri sul Boletín Oficial, reca la firma dalla ministra delle Donne, generi e diversità, Elizabeth Gómez Alcorta. Essa permette a donne e persone Lgbti di uscire di casa per poter sporgere denuncia o chiedere aiuto in casi di violenza domestica.
Nella normativa, che costituisce un’altra delle possibili eccezioni al decreto firmato, il 19 marzo, dal presidente della Repubblica Alberto Fernández sull’isolamento sociale, rientrano «quelle situazioni per cui donne o persone del gruppo Lgbt, sole o con i figli, debbano abbandonare il loro domicilio al fine di realizzare le pertinenti denunce penali rispetto a episodi di violenza. Oppure intendano chiedere aiuto, assistenza o protezione per la situazione di violenza in cui sono coinvolte».
Una misura presa nella consapevolezza, come sottolineato dalla risoluzione, che «la quarantena in alcuni casi può produrre un aumento della violenza familiare contro donne e componenti della comunità Lgbt».
