Tantissime le persone che il 27 giugno hanno voluto partecipare ai funerali di Loredana Simioli, che, secondo il rito buddista, si sono tenuti presso la Sala Gemito a Napoli. Dopo una lunga lotta contro il cancro l’attrice televisiva e cinematografica s’era spenta il giorno prima a soli 45 anni.
Loredana sarà da tutti ricordata, per aver interpretato personaggi divertenti e ironici come Mariarca nello show TeleGaribaldi o per l’intensa interpretazione del personaggio di Maria, nel film Reality, premiato al Festival di Cannes.
Certamente importante anche il ruolo da protagonista nello spettacolo teatrale Cuore nero di Fortunato Calvino, in cui si affrontava il difficile tema dell’amore tra uomini all’interno dei clan camorristici.
Loredana Simioli, che nell’ultimo periodo della sua vita si era dedicata proprio alla conoscenza e alla lotta del tumore grazie al progetto Io non ho vergogna, culminato con la registrazione di un videoclip in cui raccontava la sua vicenda personale, si era sempre schierata a fianco delle persone Lgbt+, prestando con generosità la propria immagine anche in occasione del videoclip promozionale del Mediterranean Pride of Naples del 2014, firmato dalla giovane regista Elena De Candia.
