Per impedirne, dopo la messa in onda nel Regno Unito, la trasmissione in Italia (prevista per il prossimo inverno sul FoxLife della piattaforma Sky (canale 114), CitizenGo ha lanciato domenica pomeriggio una petizione online, che ha già raccolto oltre 15.000 firme con l’hastag #StopGender.
Petizione, come annunciato sulla pagina Fb della fondazione, «per chiedere a Sky di non farsi strumento di un bombardamento ideologico che sta gettando nella confusione più totale le famiglie e i bambini con conseguenze drammatiche per la loro salute fisica e psichica».
In ogni caso il primo episodio di Butterfly è stato già proiettato, il 13 ottobre, in anteprima assoluta a Milano nel corso di Fest – Il Festival delle Serie Tv.
