Soprattutto in un clima politico che sembra legittimare esternazioni offensive e omofobe come quelle di Vittorio Feltri che, all’indomani del partecipatissimo Pride di Milano, ha parlato del capoluogo lombardo come vivaio di finocchi.
Tra i partecipanti della marcia meneghina dell’orgoglio Lgbti c’era anche il giornalista Alessandro Cecchi Paone che, questa sera presso il Love Park di Roma, interverrà al dibattito La rappresentazione delle rivendicazioni Lgbti in Tv. Incontro che, moderato da Vanni Piccolo, vedrà anche intervenire Fabio Canino, Bruno Tommassini Pugliese, Simone Alliva.
Ed è proprio ad Alessandro Cecchi Paone che chiediamo un commento sulle parole di Feltri e non solo.
Alessandro, cosa senti di rispondere alle esternazioni del direttore di Libero, per cui Milano sarebbe un vivaio di “finocchi” e il Pd la brutta copia del Partito Radicale?
Io userei il termine gay e aggiungerei che, per fortuna, Milano ne è un vivaio! Il Pd è stato essenziale per due leggi di civiltà: le unioni civili e il testamento biologico. Ma non è ancora abbastanza per diventare un nuovo Partito Radicale!
A proposito della rappresentazione mediatica delle istanze Lgbti, questa sera, interverrai a uno specifico dibattito nella capitale. Come credi debbano essere oggi veicolate tali istanze in tv e attraverso i media?
Credo debbano essere rappresentate senza folclore e ridicolizzazioni con una seria e oculata attenzione e considerazione alla cultura, all’estetica e all’arte gay.
Pensi che, al momento, l’Italia rischi davvero una retromarcia sui diritti?
