Ciò che distingue questo brano da tanti altri, che parlano d’amore, è proprio lo storytelling del videoclip che, realizzato da Ciro Grieco e Checco Danza, racconta le nozze di una donna trans che, con il tradizionale abito bianco, sposa il suo uomo. A proposito di questa scelta, il cantante napoletano Lino Calone ha dichiarato: «Io sono sempre stato dalla parte di chi soffre e ci tengo a difendere i diritti di ogni persona. E se posso farlo attraverso una canzone o un videoclip, per me è un grande onore e piacere».
«Ho iniziato il percorso per completare la transizione e un giorno mi piacerebbe trovare un uomo da sposare, come la protagonista del video di Lino»: così ha dichiarato Laura La Divina, protagonista del videoclip e celebre transessuale napoletana con migliaia di followers, nota per i suoi sketch e le sue dirette che, stando a quanto ha raccontato in una recente intervista, nonostante il successo social ha comunque vissuto una vita difficile, segnata da traumatici episodi di discriminazione.
Alle riprese del video ha partecipato anche Paola Cristiano, militante trans e responsabile dei canali social di Pride Vesuvio Rainbow, l’associazione Lgbt+ campana presieduta dal ballerino Danilo di Leo.
Paola Cristiano, già contattata dalla nostra testata in occasione di un recente episodio di transfobia che ha coinvolto una ragazza transgender campana, a proposito del lavoro svolto per realizzare il video di Lino Calone, ha dichiarato: «La nostra associazione aiuta le ragazze trans nel percorso di transizione anche attraverso la pratica della rettifica dei dati anagrafici sui documenti.. Iniziative come quella di Lino Calone sono da sostenere, perché la transfobia si combatte anche in questo modo. Purtroppo le trans sono ancora molto discriminate, spesso dalle loro stesse famiglie che le mandano via di casa. E una volta per strada, inizia il loro incubo, che tante volte finisce in tragedia».
